Speaking of interesting animals, do you know the naked mole rats? They are mammals but form colonies like ants or bees, with a queen, soldiers and workers. They also seem to feel no pain, can't get cancer and can live almost 20 years AND they are very ugly.

Deep-sea creatures are nice.

You guys are also just posting pictures of silly / unusual creatures just for jokes. I was being serious. That's one tough animal in the video I linked. It could be an unlikely hero character for a game.

Ha! You think only the honey badger deserves a game and other creatures are silly? You're so wrong. Actually I find the badger rather silly: A snake! - Attack! - Bees! - Attack!

IMHO the naked mole rats are far more interesting. They would be perfect for a Dwarf Fortress like game.

How about a OpenDungeons total conversion? Instead of playing the evil overlord, you get to be in charge of a giant naked mole rats colony and plot to take over the world!

It's toughness seems somewhat wasted on a kart racing game. Also I can't blend.
