Found this via BlenderNation: http://www.maratis3d.com/

Looks interesting, unfortunately it doesn't look like it has a build-setup for Linux; I'd be most appreciative if someone checked it out

Moved to design. You're not showcasing something, you're just linking it. :P

Hmm... I don't quite get what it is supposed to be.

The game engine part ripped out of blender, with added lua scripting and a simplified interface? But no modeling tools etc? Might have it's uses, but I don't really see the point right now...

Well maybe it is a cool game 3D development suite, with minimal entry barrier. It's definitely cool that you can "export" to multiple platforms. Nothing really what the BGE can't do (does it have lua scripting also? I don't remember...for sure it has python scripting)... but all packaged in a nice convenient thing with a nicer interface and premade parts... yeah could be actually pretty cool to use :?

Edit: Ok... not 100% sure... but it seems an independent project, only with a very nice blender integration. So disregard what I said about ripping the BGE part. Actually this seems like a really nice tool... like a scene builder with integrated entity scripting. Needs some more game templates though... like one for networked FPS etc ;) Too bad there isn't a linux port yet.
