Platform game ideas

Postby doanphan111 » 02 Nov 2019, 10:38

Hi guys

I don't know anithing in coding and I've no time to help for graphism but I had an idea for a game ,I've never seen something like that :

The game could be a platform one which 2 (or more) players could challenge themself.
The first with a pad will controling an hero , the other with a mouse will place bonus and ennemies with the mouse (in a limited area).
This game will be played in the same time by the players , and the scrolling is automatic.
After they will change role and compare scores

Thanks

Doan

The post is from 2019. Doan said he had no coding of graphics skills. So the game will never exist unless someone else wants to create it.

So the idea is that one person makes the challenge for the other player in real time? I might just attempt this one sometime for the hell of it, as it would be a fun test bed for my tile engine.

Such a game already exists. The only difference is, both players are creating challenges for the other, and of course, in real time. It's called Spy vs. Spy, and you bet it's a hell lot of fun! I've played this a lot with my nephew when we're young!

I know that there was already a PS2/Xbox rewrite (which was a complete disaster), but I'd prefer to see a FOSS rewrite for modern day computers!

Cheers,

That is actually a rather cute way to apply that license
