Standing on eachother behaviour

What should the holding eachother behaviour be?

The upper one shouldn't be able to move only jump, and the lower one should be able to move freely (current).

Standing on eachother behaviour

Hello all,

The current behaviour of the player standing on the shadow or vice versa, might not be the best one.
In order to make the best possible decision I think it's best if everyone can vote on the default behaviour. ;)

You kind of forgot the option "the lower one can carry the upper one around".
But I'd have voted the first option anyway

I would like that with the 4th option

Your right, I can't change it now because that would ruin the votes. ;)

I think most of us agree that the lower one should carry the upper one.

I think carrying your shadow has to be handle the same as your shadow carrying you, because that's what a new player expects.

I wonder how that is going to change the gameplay  .

A lot, that's what I'd prefer the gameplay to stay the same.

Hello MCMic,

It would save a lot of work. :p

Anyway, you got a very valid point, the current system works and I'm quite used to it.
Changing it could break some puzzles and introduce new problems.

The big plus of changing it is that it's quite early in development meaning that the change would have minimum impact.
On the other hand it involves lots of testing, level adapting and bugfixing.

I like the old system, carrying characters adds more to the skill aspect of the game, but reduces the puzzle aspect of the game. IMHO we need to keep as much puzzle in the game as possible.
