BUG: Fragile blocks don't crumble when swapping

Postby ctdabomb » 03 Feb 2012, 20:29

when you and you shadow switch on a crumbly block, the block doesn't get smaller.
play the first level of MCMic's levels, and try it.
Some people are like slinkies... not really good for anything, but you still can't help smiling when you shove them down the stairs.

It does on my computer.
And either way I don't see why that would be a bug.

Hello ctdabomb,

Not sure this is really a bug.
If you see the fragile block as a block that crumbles further the moment more pressure is added.
So if someone jumps on it, it will crumble, if your shadow jumps on it two it crumbles further.
The player can move along the block without crumbling it further, no weight increase.
Only when the player or shadow jumps it the weight will drop and then increase again, causing the block to crumble.

Keeping this in mind swapping won't cause further crumbling since at the same moment the player leaves the block the shadow will stand on it.

This is just how I see it. ;)
