The Reddit gaming community seems like kind of a pointless community filled with people who are obsessed with hating something. Like if you don't even like something, why do they even make these long posts about it. I think part of it is that official game forums try to tamp down on the blatant criticism, so on Redit, is like its dead, why was it ever even made.
I don't know why I thought that would be a good place to get alpha testers.

However the gaming community (especially the one on Reddit) has a significant overlap with the current "angry white male" demographic of left behind (former) middle-class young to middle aged males that seem to channel their self-hatred into online communities. They are also the ones that are currently voting for the populist right wing parties all over Europe and are partially responsible for the Trump presidency in the USA.

But don't hate them back... ultimately they just are poor lost souls

reddit is also full of people who use the same words all the time
