A project to create a space 4x open source game foundation on the Unity 3d game engine with turn based empire management and real time space combat. The project was born out of the potential of the Stardrive games, but more advanced with a focus on modding support.

I am currently rebuilding the UI using Unity's GameObject UI system; I was previously building the UI with immediate mode. I could use a hand with building the new UI, which would not require any programming knowledge.

Moving this to off topic for now as it seems to use a closed source engine. Seems like a cool.project though... have you looked into suitable open source engines?

Interesting. Im using Unity3d too and new UI was (still is) a problem.
