FOSDEM 2016: any FreeGameDev member coming?

Postby Akien » 18 Jan 2016, 17:02

Hi there,

Arguably the biggest free software event in Europe, the FOSDEM 2016 will take place in Brussels, Belgium in two weeks (for more info, see https://fosdem.org/2016).

I will be there, mostly with contributors from my Linux distribution Mageia, but also with fellow libre game developers from the Godot community. I'll probably try to showcase OpenDungeons a bit as well as some of the projects I'm working on with Godot.

Does any of you plan to attend the event too? It would be nice to meet some other libre game developers there :)
Godot Engine project manager and maintainer.
Occasional FOSS gamedev: Lugaru, OpenDungeons, Jetpaca, Minilens.

Other side of the world right now :(

But maybe you can put up a nice booth with a local multi-player game and drop this forum's address (freegamedev.net) at a few places?

I wish I could be there. But I even had to decline an invitation for the GameJam in Havana. Definitely, I have to become a millionaire soon to avoid missing more good events like this.
