Nope, neither free as in beer, not free as in libre, but I think it uses some non-copyleft libraries like Ogre3D.

I don't think we should help promote anti-social activities such as the development of proprietary, freedom-denying software.

It was more about the process of making a game as a single developer, and besides don't check the "off-topic" section then.
