Well, it is an already existing game, and not FOSS, but it could be interesting to create a FOSS program allowing use of any video with it, and shouldn't be too hard to do (the hardest part would be tracking the road/tracks/path, but could be done with a semi-manual editor as well).

Just putting the idea out there for later use (or if anybody else feels like doing this).

The video he is using is CC-BY-SA, is he actually abiding by that licence when he is selling the full version?

Is your question "is it legal to sell ccbysa works? The answer is yes.

If you're wondering whether the author kept the license for the videos, It'd be great if you contacted them and asked and reported your findings here.
