I am a Polish national and have been learning English for 20+ years, read 150+ books in English (including things like Kant's Critique of Pure Reason) and I had lived in the UK for 2 years.

My areas of expanded vocabulary would be psychology, politics, video games, TTRPGs, literature, and melee weaponry.

I wrote some poetry in both languages, so I think I would be capable of more creative translations too.

I have little experience in translating for money, so I want to deliver a quality of free work, that would provide me with references or possibly paid work in the long term.

I can also help with voice acting on a capable amateur level. I have a solid microphone.

Normally we don't allow advertisement posts like this, but if you are willing to do pro-bono voice-acting (only Polish or also English?) some open-source games might be interested.

The Polish translation exists, but it always needs updating after a new release. Currently, it is at 75% for Minetest itself. For games for Minetest, the percentage is usually lower. I am helping with translating this myself, to German. This game is still in development, but already has a large number of texts to translate and there is no Polish translation yet. As the Polish translation must still be created, contact the dev team here: https://naev.org/contact/
I recommend to start translating this one only after you've played this game for a while or at least are loosely familiar with the game, so you get the context right.

Both Minetest and Naev are translated on hosted.weblate.org. But games and mods for Minetest are translated with text files, which is more annoying (check out the wiki site) but at least they *can* be translated in the first place. :-/
