Good free-mailer?

I'm looking for a free email provider that is not Google or some other data leech and that I can also use an e-mail client to use (POP3 or IMAP).

Any suggestions?

You can register at disroot.org

Comes with some Nexcloud storage as well... hosted by a dutch non-profit run on donations.

Or you can register a cheap domain with ovh.com and get a single 5gb email for free with it.
