The Unigine game OilRush is available for preorder here: https://store.unigine.com/products/category/oilrush/. The price is $20.
Will you buy it? I would, if I had the money!

No. Excuse me if the post looks like spam. It is not exactly a free game, thats why I put it in the offtopic forum.
Considering the support that Unigine Corp. is giving to commercial game development under Linux, we (eh, I mean, anyone who can) should consider support them by buying the game. In case somebody doesn tknows, OilRush has a native Linux port, besides the usual Windows and PS3 versions.

Thanks for the hint; bought, downloaded and tested already. :)
It looks really nice, but I'll have to see if I like the gameplay as well. I like RTS games, but I'm more in favor of historical ones.

Ah... gotcha rogerdv. ;)

Perhaps next time you could qualify a random link like that for people who don't know what you are talking about?

My mistake. Forgot that not everybody is a follower of Phoronix.com or Unigine engine. By the way, I recommend getting Unigine Heaven if you need a tool for stressing and benchmarking your videocard under Linux (and Windows too).
