Yeah, some kind of nightly or weekly builds would be great. Best would be an automated script that works together with a download website (so you don't have to care). OpenTTD, OpenClonk, DCSS and some other games have these kind of system.

I don't have a spare computer to run it currently, though the process is quite automated otherwise, so it's only a matter of rebuilding and uploading.

I will finish the Icons/borders tonight. I will let you know in this thread. It should not take long. Blablub@ then you can use the hover, disabled, pushed and normal images in the GUI icon-set.

Currentl there already are fully functional buttons. Better versions should be in 0.4.8.

Ok, I will post them here when I am done - they are also in the SVN by the way. Then you decide if they should go into this release or the next one.

Ok here are the buttons, they should be layered in this ordering, with the % denoting the opacity, that is 0 % means the layer is invisible and 100 % means that the layer is solid. The following line is the top of the layering stack and the last is the bottom of the layering stack.

ButtonDisabled/ButtonPressed/ButtonHover 100%
ButtonNormal 100%
RawIcons 100%

The border should also have a solid background in its inner part. The hover looks almost the same as currently in the Media. And I'm not sure if the cross is good. Well, for a cross it's great. ;) But I'm not sure if a cross should show the disabled state. In the current svn Media I have a dark gray overlay for disabled (the classical "grey out effect").

Here are the current buttons and counter icons in the svn (the ones for 0.4.7). Basic, hover, disabled, clicked, quarters, dojo, forge, treasury, host, quit, cannon.

The icons should go under the Normal, that is why it is not solid. There are some shadows in the Normal image that I want applied to the icons. See my post about how they should be layered.

I am also not too found of the disabled effect, but it will suffice for now. I will improved it later.

I have now uploaded a windows binary package and a linux binary package for the release. If it works okay we can make a release post.
