There is a "mark all as read" in the top right corner for anyone else who hasn't done this yet.

And my feed sidebar doesn't show anymore that a thread belongs to OD or another forum. :( Well, I read all new posts anyway. ;)

BTW wouldn't it be nice to have a sticky link to the SF and the wiki like Syntensity?

qubodup: could you add something to the description of the Model-sub-forum so the
description would read:

"Creatures, rooms, traps, dungeon geometry, GUI, artwork, etc."

We already have a link to the wiki-page, we have had that from the beginning of this forum. If you go to the root of this forum and click the link in the text "Discussing the OpenDungeons game." then you get the wiki-page, which has links to the SF project page and back at this forum :)

Ah, well hidden. ;) I've never seen it before.

BTW I'd rename the models subforum. Graphics would fit better.

qubodup: could you add the wiki link to the developer and player sub-forums? It is the link that is at the top of this page in the text saying "Discussing the OpenDungeons game." then the texts could be "Discussing the development of the OpenDungeons game." for the developers sub-forum and "Player discussion of the OpenDungeons game." for the player sub-forum.

3 months have passed and my current optimization impression is:
1. Merge "Model/gfx" and "mappping"
2. Merge dev and player misc, call it "general"
3. Rename "Install and upgrade" to "Troubleshooting and installation"
I will wait at least 3 more months before making any suggestions.

It think we shall keep things as they ARE (except maybe for 3))

1) The mapping section is off course not used yet as the backstory and general content development is still in its infancy. So just keep it as it is.
2) I think that the two should not be mixed as the dev misc forums is mostly for stuff that is relevant for developers whereas the player misc is most for players, but as we do not have players yet (as the game is not even in a playable state - seen from a normal players viewpoint) then it might be useful in the future, and having it at least gives new players a possibility to put up threads that are not related to "Install and upgrade" or "Troubleshooting and installation".
3) We can call it that, it might be better as it encourages the players to report bugs and general trouble they have when running the game.

I agree with Svenskmand on this one. I was thinking about this issue the other day and that is what I came to, we don't have any mapping/playing going on yet so those forums are presently unused. Once the game gets going I think these forums will see more use.
