It's been a very long time since the last version, but there has been some bug fixes, some more models have normal maps (though they are still hard-coded). I can't remember whether or not the menu was present in the previous version. There has been some performance improvements as well I think. Also tiles marked for digging change colour. There might be some changed models or textures, I can't remember.

New/updated models are: Cannon, big_wood_barrel, barrel_destroyed, Shelf, Stool, Table, Chair and Torch. The new orc needs some more time. I haven't uploaded them yet because under "text status" of the Media folder it says "added (+), tree conflict". I was not sure what that meant and was afraid to mess up the repository structure.

Which client do you use to upload? TortoiseSVN?

Else just copy the new stuff you made somewhere else and re-checkout the folder that causes conflicts and merge your files into it afterwards.

The problem was that the media folder name was still captitalized while the new one is lowercase. It didn't update that for some reason, so I deleted the complete folder and redownloaded it.

I have located the place where the missing file RenderSystem_GL.so is, which is at "/usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/OGRE-1.7.4" but I do not know how to tell OD where to find it :S I cannot see anything in the folder "cmake/config" of the root of OD where I can input this :S

What do I do?

For some reason CMake doesn't locate the plugin folder, so it is left blank. For the compiled version it's set in plugins.cfg.

EDIT: I made a workaround, will commit soon.

Okay, that didn't quite work. Seems like the FindOGRE cmake script isn't quite picking up the multiarch stuff in the recent ubuntu versions. Might work to just get the latest versions of the cmake script.

I still get the exact same error. I make a tarball using the script, unzip it, run cmake . and then I run make. Then I run the game from the OpenDungeons shellscript in the OD root folder after I have changed the script to point to the OD folder.

Yes, it's because the plugin folder is set wrong. I will try to look more at it on Monday.

Ok, thanks :) I will try and set up scripts so that I can compile the windows binaries on linux too. That will make it easier to set up a nightly build system in the future :)

Yeah, ogre in ubuntu repos doesn't come with cg support as default (damn patents). Fixed now.

Yep, it is in the PPA now. It runs only on Precise 12.04. I can make it for other distros as well if requisted.

Nope not yet, I wanted to make a cross-compile script to do it, but I am pretty busy the next few days writing a paper. But I will look into it ASAP

By the way if we want a Oneiric build then we probably need to look into the cmake scripts again :S because if I use the following packages in oneiric I get an error when cmake looks for the ceguiogre header files :S
