I dont' know if it will be useful or not but i made a logo for your game. (Maybe some coin or something like this)
If you look closer there are the O of Open and the D of Dungeons.

The logo example in yellow/red like magma is just an idea of what you can do with the base SVG.
But if you want the .xcf i can join it to this post.

As you can see it's a little bit messy.

Thanks for the logo. I was wondering how you could achieve this result and now, I can see. It seems pretty hard to me to work on so many layers at the same time and foresee what changing one or another will do.

To have paint effect i worked on relief and paint effects with G'mic.
Perhaps you should try this fantastic software in Gimp.

I like the new logo, too.

We can add it anytime as a replacer to the current one.

I can do the graphical changes if nobody else wants to do it.
