I was just playing DK and was playing some of the bonus/easter egg levels We should definitely have some of these So lets come up with strange rules for easter eggs.

For example one level in DK is only accessible when it is full moon

Another posibility is to make the game much harder between 03:00 to 06:00, this was for example the case in some of the Mortal Kombat games (I am not sure of the specific time intervals, but it was sometimes very hard at night, and the computer made fatalities almost every time )

Hehe I'm currently at the bonus level where you have to play in first person mode. Started to play DK again, too. Do you know how I can pick up the level up bonus in the north-west corner?

Get a team of imps to follow you up there, I think it is the 7 key.

Huh, there are imps? Do you mean the same level? I mean the one where you start with a dragon and have to move through lava in the beginning. How many bonus levels are there?

Oh, I've not played any of the bonus levels, I was just giving an idea from what I new about the game.

Ahh i remember having played that level , but I do not think that I finished it, they are in general very difficult :S

There is REALLY many bonus/hidden levels If you are stuck you can take a look at this.

Just out of interest, has anyone managed to get DK2 working properly under XP? Mine crashes every half an hour or so. I might try and run it through wine again.

As for easter eggs, I think we should make every creature where a santa hat when the system clock shows the date as December 25th, and kobold should turn into bunnies on Easter Sunday

This is great , except that the Kobolds should also wear the santa hat on the 24th of december In denmark we get the presents at the 24th in the evening after having danced around the tree

We should of course also have all the creatures wear pirate hats, and maybe a wooden leg and a parrot every time it is the 19. September

And they should of course also talk piratish all the time Gaaarrrrhhh

October 31 - Your imps go around trick-or-treating (taking money from your creatures and putting it back in your treasury)
Of coarse they should all dress up

I would also suggest all Bile Demons wear Santa Clause outfits but there will be no Bile Demons... what's a similar fat creature?
