Final but modificable of course:
Child topic: "Creature lists and concept art for them"
***Only human faction will remain mostly the same, Keeper faction will became a mix of all the others and some creatures are only available to a keeper specializing in any of the paths***
- 22-03-14, i made a lot of modifications to make this list more sensible, your opinions are appreciated.

Heroes:Goodie to shoes surface inhabitants, belonging to a miriad of small kingdoms, they normally war among themselves but will join to destroy any external menace, there are some exceptions in which they wont stop their feud even at the face of siniter enemies like the Keepers. (a total of 19 creatures, perhaps too much?)

Scout:
- Wisp (flying ball of light, like Navy from zelda, not much to say, fast, likes to scout and is a very poor fighter.

Weak fighter: Early level/game creatures, mostly cannonfodder, but with some useful skills

- Adventurer, fast, medium damage, low hp, sneaky, a good thief? (http://opengameart.org/content/adventur ... t-low-poly) -READY
- Halfling , fast, medium damage, low hp (The fatty short type that appeared in "Overlord" pc game would be great)
- War-Dog, fast, medium damage, medium hp (like this guy http://www.mybuddydog.com/ddb.jpg and maybe armored like this one: http://privateerpress.com/files/imageca ... ar-dog.png)
- Digger Dwarf (Tunneler): medium speed, low damage, low hp; this guy only duty is to dig a way into the enemy dungeons for the rest of the heroes, other than that hes a very weak and useless warrior

Strong fighter: Strong Attack troops, they will rush to battle anytime.

- Knight, an all rounder, good hp, damage and medium-low speed (already have a model, thought it could use a total revamp)
- Barbarian, fast, high damage, medium to low hp, high damage skills (the model should be modelled after Conan or no one else! the loincloth wont give much proteccion so it should have either low hp or armor, depending on game mechanics)
- Paladin, an all rounder, good hp, damage and medium-low speed like the knight, but possesing healing and anti-undead skills
- Construct, very low speed, very high damage and hp, a magical colossus of the battlefield, (concept is in first topic link)

Weak spellcaster: Support units with very useful skills but low attack power

- Cleric, low damage spells, medium hp, slow, can heal and have some anti-undead special spells (or a damage bonus)
- Church Maiden, low damage spells, medium hp, buff allies, the cheerleader of the dungeon (boost performance of other creatures)

Strong spellcaster: High damage dealer units with low hp (crystal cannons), keep them away from harms way.

- Wizard, high damage spells, medium HP, slow (we have a model in the works)
- Fairy, medium damage spells, low hp, pretty fast, support buffs to other units.(irlicht fairy could be used)

Guard: Flexible troops with both strong melee and ranged like the defender or special skills like the Archer, they prefer to hang around at their fortress.

- Defender, low speed, high HP, high damage, armed with a crossbow and poleaxe, (reference:http://thumbs4.ebaystatic.com/d/l225/m/mO6CDEyGTJYB2WJnGA4k5Yg.jpg)

*Weak builder:
- Blacksmith, low speed, good damage, good hp, builds.(the kind you find in every rpg village, musclebound with a hammer and apron)

Angel (Spell Caster - Can heal and raise dead)

Super creature: very strong but temperamental warriors
- King, uber stats, hard to manage, bonus to creatures like church maiden has.

Evil Keeper: A collection of dark creatures recruited all around the dark corners of the lands and underlands, or created by unholy rituals, ruled by tiranicals magical lords knowns as keepers. This list should include all the "basic" creatures any keeper can obtain. Unique creatures can be accesed by especialization on the paths of WAR, MAGIC or STEALTH

Lets make each specialization have a different one, 3 in total

Super creature: very strong but temperamental warriors
Demon READY

Creatures unique to especialization:

I will open a new tread, this will need lots of disscusion

- Necromancer, low damage spells, strong debuffs and able to raise dead enemy units as basic undead units, medium HP
- Liche: no debuffing or support skills, just really strong damage spells and medium HP.

Guard:
- Wraith knight, a ghostly armored knight, without legs(floating) and armed with a scary crossbow, low speed, high HP,high damage, can stun (terrify enemies)
- Skeleton archer, squeleton with a bow, battered archer armor and a bow made of bones, coupled with arrows also made of sharpened bones, high speed, medium damage, medium health, poison effect(or bleeding)

Weak builder: (I am not too found if this guy, so any other suggestions would be cool :D )
- Undead Gnome, poor little guy, low stats on everything, builds.

Strong builder:

- Revenant, a undead version of a talented blacksmith (like Grisworld from Diablo 2), with good stats overall, builds.

Summons:
Atrocity (Strong mindless fighter - can feed on corpses to increase life time and HP - Hates water - Don't fight it with weak creatures)

Super creature:
- Abomination, a horrible creatures stitched together of several corpses, does heavy melee damage, but is pretty dumb, and slow moving.

sorry for replying to such an old thread, but since it says 'not so final', I would like to make a suggestion.

A maiden, to me, is something like a maid/servant type of girl. The heroes decription of 'Maiden' to me sounds a lot like a 'bard' class in regular games. If she has no model yet I would like to suggest the name change as it is more recognisable for her function, and perhaps up the health and down the direct damage to make it more explicitly a support magician.

Ok, we also need this for reference on the website (with pictures of existing creatures? ;])

@Elvano, could you add a page for that?

For the record, as stated in the github issue, I've splitted some creatures so that we have 3 per tier for both factions.
Moreover, we wanted to have a triangle (each creature being better than another of the tier). To do that, each one have a specialized attack (physical, magical or elemental) per tier, a weak defense against another attack and a strong one againse the last.
For example, for keeper tier1:
- cavehornet deals elemental attacks, have good defense against magical attacks and weak defense against physical defense
- Spider deals physical attacks, have good defense against elemental attacks and weak defense against magical attack
- Slime deals magical attacks, have good defense against physical attacks and weak defense against elemental attacks

That allows, at same level:
- cavehornet wins versus slime
- spider wins versus cavehornet
- slime wins versus spider

List of the creature per tier (in the order physical damage, magical damage, elemental damage)
Keeper creatures:
Tier1: spider, slime, cavehornet <
Tier2: goblin, wyvern, roach >
Tier3: orc, kreatur, lizardman <
Tier4: troll, pitdemon, dragon >

Hero creatures:
Tier1: dwarf, gnome, cavehornet <
Tier2: dwarf chief, tentacle, adventurer <
Tier3: dwarf runelord, wizard, knight >
Tier4: defender, scarab, bigknight >

Note that "<" or ">" at the end of the line represent the orer of the creatures being better than another one.
For example, spider < slime, slime < cavehornet and cavehornet < spider. Or goblin > wyvern, wyvern > roach and roach > goblin

About spawn conditions, Tier1 creatures do not need anything.
Tier2 creatures need basic rooms like dormitory or hatchery.
Tier3 creatures need bigger basic rooms, gold and a training room. Note that they get a malus per same tier stronger creature (for example, orc gets a malus per kreatur).
Tier4 creatures need bigger basic rooms, more gold, at least 2 tier3 creatures of the same attack type (for example troll needs 2 orcs). They also get a malus per same tier stronger creature (for example, dragon gets a malus per troll).
