Hi there you pathetic minions,

Here it comes again, OpenDungeons 0.6.0! Check the delightfully creepy release announcement: http://opendungeons.github.io

Image

For the most indisciplinate of you, you'll find everything you've been waiting for on our glorious new FTP: http://downloads.tuxfamily.org/opendungeons/0.6.0
You can also have a look at the long listing of all the political stances of our new Dungeon Master: https://github.com/OpenDungeons/OpenDun ... E-NOTES.md

And of course, any grievance should go directly to our Machiavellian tracker, where it will be addressed... when the Dungeon Lord is bored.

Be cunning, be evil, and have fun!

Yep: https://github.com/OpenDungeons/OpenDun ... E-NOTES.md
I'll add a link in the first post. hwoarangmy said yesterday that I was the only one reading release notes, but I'm happy to see I'm not :P

That's just what I thought when reading the post ^^

Note that in the release notes, there is a date for 0.5.0 but not for 0.6.0. It would be nice to have a date for each so that we can remember when each version came out :)

Yep, I left it out at first and forgot to actually set a release date yesterday when I tagged 0.6.0. I'll update it in the dev and 0.6 branches.

I can't seem to download it, I get the following error:
550 Can't change directory to /opendungeons/0.6.0/OpenDungeons-0.6.0-Win32.zip: No such file or directory

Indeed, the link for the Win32 zipball seems broken on the website, I'll fix it. That you are the first one to notify us about it probably means we don't have a huge user base yet :p

Edit: It should now be fixed.

I tried out one of the skirmish scenarios, it's fun :) I had never played Dungeon Keeper back in the day, looks like I missed out on this style of game...

I lost horribly though, as could be expected for someone playing for the first time :p

That means our AI is not that bad after all ^^
