Hi Elvano :)

But as far as I know, that's what the tech demo is all about.

Yeah, true. Yet, I'd add a tutorial, or a small intro. It doesn't need to be brilliant on the first pass, but a bit of text and an image or two is achievable, for instance.
And I'd try to give the player an objective. Just my humble opinion, though. ;)

Your blamage on "opensource tools" makes me sad though ;_;

oh? I wasn't aware I was like blaming open source tools. In fact, I'm all for enforcing them here, in fact. :)
To me, the only sad part is that Ogre and CEGUI are usually used (and over-used) with MS tools and,
building a free library with non-free tools (as a preferred way of doing it) is a nonsense.

That's why I'm trying to see whether it's actually feasible to keep using free tools when it comes into building OD. On Windows, at least.
On the plus side, the CEGUI team was very kind when helping me and already adapted some of their code to be more Mingw friendly. :)

Best regards,

I like this! These are very much the things we should talk about at the meetings. Danimal and Bertram, what time is good for the two of you? Let's get the ball rolling to fix some (or all) of the problems.

Hi ReZ, :)

Danimal and Bertram, what time is good for the two of you?

Well, I'm not a good example of well-managed and well-scheduled free-time maker. Life's so crazy.

As for me, it would be on European evenings mostly.
Something like 21:00 CET would be perfect to me, especially tonight, but on Friday, or Sunday and Tuesday nights in general.
And, eh, during the workdays, I sometimes just can't make it.

That said, I can jump on the forums from time to time. :)

Best regards,

This week isn't the best for me at that time, due to illness and me having early nights this week, but Friday the 6th would be good. Would that work for you? Otherwise, I'm sure we could try to get something happening on Sunday, but that's usually a bad day, since Monday tends to follow it ;)

Haha, I'm always up for a challenge, Danimal. If everything else fails, we'll do interpretive dance over webcam. If that doesn't work, nothing will!

There was supposed to be a meeting today as well.
I've been waiting for people a long while.

I did made an effort to squeeze this in in my (busy) scedule, preparing a little meeting. A bit of a blow nobody responding.
Not that I blame you as I understand that how things were said it this topic it was very confusing as in when the meeting was.

I do, however, blame this #€¼'(" forum for not sending me notifications as it should (and did before).

This being said, there will be no more meeting today, atleast not hosted by me. Not that I wouldn't want to, but I have another meeting and I have to leave in a couple of minutes.

I do hope that the absence of today's audience does mean you'll be all abled to attend this friday?
(That's right, I'm looking at you chaps)
Afterall, your favorite host, Rez, will be present again.

So y'all know; be there, or be triangle!

Well, originally, I think we were supposed to have two, or even three meetings this week, just to get everyone involved. I know that both me and Elvano are looking very much forward to getting people talking so the art-direction is sorted out at least, and I bet that more people have issues they want sorted, so for all I care, we could have meetings all week, just as long as we get somewhere :)

That being said, Friday does seem like a good day, as does Sunday. I'll be happy to part-take in both of them.

also, feel free to send me your Skype aliases, so I can add you. I promise to not call you at inappropriate times, and\or show my mantits and\or genitalia on webcam.

Afterall, your favorite host, Rez, will be present again.

All you need for people to be present, Elvano, is a little bit of suggestive moaning when people connect :)

I interpreted the talk here as the meeting being moved, but apparently that was not the case. Maybe I was not alone in doing that.
I did log on to irc to find out what was happening, but I somehow got occupied with other things and forgot about it, so I'm sorry about that.

Haha, I can see the confusion here. The correct date(s) are:

Friday 6th of December, 21:00 CET
and
Sunday 8th of December, 21:00 CET

Hi all,

God dammit, I've got internet issues since yesterday afternoon, and can't get online from home.

In fact, all my home surrounding area have got this problem. I'll try and reach my ISP to get to know when this is solved.
Thus, I have a big fear not being capable of online presence tonight.

Till next time.

well, we could always postpone it until sunday, that might be a better day for more people. We may even get Daemon to join then!
I still haven't gotten any e-mails with contact info from you Bertram, or you Danimal, so it would be great if you could send it before Sunday's meeting. Either that, or join us on IRC where I shall be idling.

Anyway, unless I hear something, I'm going to assume that we're postponing the meeting until Sunday at 21:00.

I'll try to do it also on sunday.
