General Bone Structure

Hey everybody

Right now many of the models, if not every model, uses it's own bone structure.
Eventhough most the vertebrates went pretty much through the same evolution, concerning he bone structure.
Therefor I wish there to be a general bonestructure that covers most of our creatures.
by this I mean, not the exact rotation or size, but rather;

  • Same hiearchie
  • Same names
  • ...

This to allow most common animations to only need to be animated once for most of our creatures,
and allows us to easily fix/improve animations, without having to do it over and over again, for every creature.

(In Blender there is ever a plugin, present by default, called 'rigify'. If you enable this you can import a complete human bone structure. If there is a way to also get this structure to 3ds and other used apps we can opt to use this one)
