Are there any defined system requirements for USF? I want to run it on my brother's laptop that's as old as me :?

I used to develop on a eeepc701 yes, and it was playable, but i think it would be hard for a processor lower than 600Mhz, as for memory i did not test with less than 512, but 256 may be enough…

I don't know how old you are by the way, you could be a 8 year old boy with good english skills or an adult, nothing tell me :).

thanks for you interest anyway :)

I'm 13. EeePC's are really bad. I used one a year ago and I was very unimpressed. Planet Penguin Racer had a really low frame rate. 600 MHz? My brother's laptop is 266 MHz with 64 MB RAM :(

I think the computer is too bad :(
And you can't use any recent systems on this computer ?
I think you will have some problem to install python and pygame...

Ouch! 266Mhz and 64MB! Sounds like a challenge :D

Which system do you have on it? old windows or really light linux version?

Anyway you can test, I can tell you that big maps won't work right (big work to scale images) but maybe small ones…

I think you could try to use the latest python 2.x version and the latest pygame version.

The game doesnt use hardware acceleration, framerate depends depends more on the CPU than on the GPU.
