Image recognition software in games?

Postby Julius » 06 Feb 2018, 14:22

I guess with AR slowly becoming a thing and good & cheap camera hardware in nearly very laptop, something like this:

Could make for some quite funny multiplayer games.

It could probably also be used for trackerless head motion capture.

Oh, you are right :( Was excited by the cool gifs and didn't check the actual license.

Does anyone know a really FOSS solution for such kind of AR applications?

Haven't really investigated it, but I ran across some Open Source AI image recognition software using neural nets at: https://pjreddie.com/darknet/ Sounded like an interesting project.
