New major release of Torque3D version 3.9

Several big things to note with this release is the full and proper roll-over to deferred rendering, the initial implementation of the entity/component stuffs, switching over to epoxy for OpenGL handling and DirectX 11 integration.


Sounds pretty cool, but the really big news is that for the next version, 4.0, they are finally planning to modernize some of the really old legacy stuff in the engine, so that sounds quite promising.

Nice! Torque has an excellent editor, but its documentation was scarce and outdated. I had to abandon it after a month of work without any result.

The new release is very broken, better not use it yet, but the documentation is probably better than in any other open source game engine.
