Stumbled upon this a few days ago. Strangely noone here posted anything about it. This is a tool for making 2D games, it's open-source (dual-licensed, GPL if your game is GPL), can make Windows, Linux etc binaries. I've tried to use it, it's a bit clunky in some places, for example, the scripting language is raw C and video tutorials available are crappy. But overall it's pretty usable, especially if you want to prototype some idea before starting your next project.
