This post always makes me angry, why to query the user with useless questions ? In 99% one wants to have a glimpse on his sub-ted post, could you consider removing this query ?

This is a very common feature in forums; ubiquitous even.

I agree though that it is pretty useless.

Well I find it useful to read it once more to check for spelling/formatting errors, though I do that before submitting as well so I guess it might be redundant. Whatever.

Well the idea is that it should always redirect to the post you just made. This is what most forums do these days and it allows you to have a quick second spell-check etc.
I tend to always click on the link that does just that.
