[solved] Do we need an Off-Topic subforum?

I want every thread to be meaningful, I want this forum to be specialized, I don't want to waste time on "check out this game" posts, considering whether it is spam or just off-topic.

But should we be professional-open-source all the time? Wouldn't a 'subforum of relaxation' allow the community to bind on levels other than the cold, green world of open source game development and be of use to all of us in the end?

PS: There's IRC, but not every body likes it and it's limited by being online at the same time.

Meh whatever. It'll encourage some absolute tripe but then again it might make people use the forum more so... meh, whatever.
