phpBB forum errors (UTF-8 chars & "Show your posts")

If I post a UTF-8 emoticon like the sun I get a SQL error.
Although the preview works.

Incorrect string value: '\xF0\x9F\x8C\x9E I...' for column 'post_text' at row 1 [1366]

Clicking the "Show your posts" link in Settings also triggers an error.

Expression #1 of ORDER BY clause is not in SELECT list, references column 'fgd_phpbb.p.post_time' which is not in SELECT list; this is incompatible with DISTINCT [3065]
