Elemental Mages - A small game I've made for a gamejam

Elemental Mages is a little oldschool arcade game about four mages inside a dungeon. The player has the goal to find the Amulett of Yendor.

The game was made for the LOWREZJAM on itch.io(https://itch.io/jam/lowrezjam2017/community).
It has a resolution of 64x64 pixel and uses only 16 colors (Dawnbringer16 palette). The idea was to make a game that looks abd feels like a game out of the 8bit-era.

I've created Elemental Mages with Python3.5 and pygame, during the past 15 days within ~20h of work, so don't expect too much. The game can be finished in 5-10min and maybe contain bugs. After the jam I maybe will release another version with bugfixes and more content.

I decided to releas the code under the terms of GPL3 and the assets as CC0.

Played it here -- a nice little game, it took a few goes to figure out that at certain spots you can switch between the mages. It would be good to be able to shoot something at the monsters, though adding more content than that may be past the point of diminishing returns.

Cheers :)
