I wanted to let you know about the Open Pixel Project
We've created over 2000 high quality pixel art assets, and we're hoping to make more in the future
Everything is in the public domain, so free to use for whatever!

We're always looking for more contributors, and especially some engaged organizers. I myself have been working on this project on and off since 2013, and would love to see that it can continue when I'm absent!

If you're interested or using these in a project, come say hello some time , or even leave requests! We have a forum and a chatroom, both of which are quite active at the moment

These sprites are great. Do you animate them all by hand? If not, how about also sharing your art sources?

Yes, all animations are done by hand. We've looked into template based animations so that we could share the templates, but this did not make animation any easier.
