Open Solitaire Classic

Open Solitaire Classic

Hey everyone, I finished my first video game, and I think it is pretty great. Took way longer than expected to squash all the bugs but I'm happy with the results. This is version 0.9; for 1.0 I plan to add auto-play, undo button, and sound effects.

Please let me know how you like the game and if you run into any issues or not. :)

I split the game logic into a generic playing card engine and the specific logic for a solitaire game itself, so I'm trying to make it easier to create future card games:

Well done!

I would encourage you to distribute the Windows version as an unzip-only (portable) as well as an installer. I would have tried a portable version but, since this is a work PC, installing isn't an option.

Thanks Charlie!

Good suggestion; I went ahead and uploaded the portable version. Now just to get the Mac version working and to figure out how to get snapcraft working so I can upload to Ubuntu software center.

Finally got done with my official 1.0 release :D

The game is much more polished now, it has an Undo feature, a Solve feature, and a lot of fun animations and sound effects.

Why Open Solitaire Classic when there already is PySol Fan Club edition?
(The card game is included as “Klondike”.)
