These are some screenshots of my RPG project, still in prototype phase. I have been testing Urho3D engine capabilities, and what you see is the result of a month of work. Currently the camera management is completed (iso-like view, with rotation and zoom), initial dialog system support, scene change and a few other details. Low framerates are because I dont have a video card, the game is running on an integrated GMA 4500. The scenes quality is not the best because Urho lacks proper terrain editing and painting, plus Im not a good artist. In a couple of months Ill be officially intriducing the project, with a proper gameplay trailer and maybe Ill start a donation campaign.

Looks good for only a month of work. What are your design goals with this game? What type of RPG is this going to be? Is it going to play like Diablo, for example?

It is more like Baldur's Gate or old Fallout games, but with pausable real time combat. The Pillars of Eternity trailer motivated me to work like crazy during this month, I really wish I could achieve a similar look in my game, but that is impossible with current assets (taken from OGA).

That looks like a great start. The good thing is you are somebody who has been about the scene a bit which means I have a ton more faith you'll stick to your task. These things, as I'm sure you know, don't happen in months but years.

The great news is that if you can make progress like this in a month, and can continue to chip away at it steadily, you'll soon be attracting contributors who can help raise the level of the art assets a bit closer towards your aspirations. These things snowball, so the important thing is to maintain working on it and release early, release often.

:D

Even though RPG's aren't my thing, sweet progress anyway, keep it up. :)
