Scheme7 - 2D physics shooter / RPG

Just released 0.1 of my new game today. It's a 2D physics based game (Thrust-based, to those of you with memories of the 1980's) with some role-playing, exploring and trading elements.

Right now there isn't much a game except that the physics engine is incorporated and working fine. More to come in the future etc...

Anyhow, you can download it from https://sourceforge.net/projects/scheme7/

And the game forum can be found here: http://scheme7.simplygaming.org/

Of course, obligatory screenshot, although it's not so good right now:

I'm having troubles running pymunk (reported) so I can't test for now but I wanted to let you know of OldSkoolGravityGame, which you might like.

Also, I'd like to suggest that you could change the color palette, with retro colors getting pretty standard (and boring). Perhaps you'd like one of
* The Colors Of Rebecca Clements
* LÖVE
* Zenburn

Oh yes, the colours are pretty awful (not just programmer art, but programmer colours, as well :-)

Ultimatly the current vector gfx will be rendered as pixel art, so it's not a great worry for me right now.

Instead of spamming this board every couple of days (or indeed any other site), I'll put continuing screenshots up on an online photo album, which can be found at:

In other news, I'm looking at probably the middle of July for release 0.2, which will have a single playable level.

I would recommend http://opengameart.org/search/art?keys=iron+plague as a source for sprites.
