DNT is an in-dev satirical post-apocalyptic RPG. You can fight rats, collect game cartridges for kids so they can shape the future of gaming, hack computers, install operating systems and lock-pick doors...

Assuming you have all dependencies installed, you can easily test the development version via:
{l Code}: {l Select All Code}
git clone git://git.code.sf.net/p/dnt/code dnt
cd dnt/
cmake .
make
cd bin/
./dnt

All feedback is welcome and will be forwarded to the lead developer. My few contributions (sounds, graphics, game mechanics change/addition suggestions, quest ideas, dialogs scripts) have been received well and accepted quickly, so if you have something to offer to enhance DNT, please contribute.

If it's the same way then would have to re-download it all again or is there a way to re-use some of the downloaded already and just download the diff from the new git repo ?

Yes, this was known under a more complicated name before. :)

There are git URL update instructions.

actually the git update URL instructions are good if you are a developer and have/want commit access.
For just a user like me it's simple as just changing/pointing to the new git repo. address :-

{l Code}: {l Select All Code}
url = git://git.code.sf.net/p/dnt/code

and then just do a git pull origin master just as before to see whatever new is there. Maybe quodop or somebody else would like to update the instructions there as well.

1. shirish thanks, I passed the info to the thread author, farrer.
2. DNT 0.10 was released (including OS X and Win32 binaries): http://dnt.dnteam.org/cgi-bin/downloads.py many textures have been replaced by tRaK's works.
3. Suggestions for 0.11 best be given in http://dnt.dnteam.org/FoRuM/viewtopic.p ... p=746#p746
