is it okay to teaser an open source project? i have been working on this for about a month and haven't told anyone
(well, except my wives but i do not think they care much).
and i will go crazy soon if i do not get show it. but on the other hand, i know most of you will probably only give it one click. okay, maybe *you* might try it again
after a couple of weeks.
but first impressions count. so behold:
this is the awesome boardgame (it's coop! great to play with your wives because everyone wins (or not)) that
originally inspired me.
but watch this:
this is the pyweek game that reminded me to really nail a real-time version of the board game. on a COMPUTER! also:
i love that radar look. i always wanted to do a "24" tv series game where the player gets to whisper "within the
hour" to progress at some point. and look at the awesome radars/satellites.
then i heard about that new steven soderbergh movie 'contagion'. but i already started coding up my little thing when i first heard about that movie - so scratch the last one.
and finally, an actual screenshot from the start menu of the game:
yep. that last one is the only pic of the game i am going to show from the actual game that is all you get to see (my tv series loving wives agree). more pics and infos... soon (though probably not within the hour).
ps.: i was lying about pandemic being awesome with wives: most do not like the infection/epidemic theme. maybe
they would enjoy it with ponies, but how would do work?
