Remember the orx game engine? Made by Iarwan?
There is
a) a new release 1.1 and
b) a game made with it called 'MushroomStew'. It looks pretty good, especially the effects of the water. and the light of the intro.
BTW: Is the intro also that slow on your computers or is it just my crappy driver?

I take the opportunity of finding this thread to post a small news concerning orx for those who are interested: orx iPhone v1.2 beta has just been released today. It can be downloaded from https://sourceforge.net/projects/orx/fi ... .2%20(beta)/orx-full-iPhone-1.2-beta.zip/download

The archive contains orx's full source code as well as an iPhone-oriented demo featuring:
- accelerometer
- touch interaction
- physics
- particles
- music & sounds
- dynamic object creation
- visual FXs

You can find more details in the !ReadMe-iPhone.txt file inside the archive. =)

Not sure if someone's interested around but the first release candidate for orx v1.3 is out. =)

A bunch of stuff have been added, including (but not only):
- Android support (both in native for Android 2.3+ and jni for Android 1.6+ forms)
- custom shader / OpenGL ES 2.0 for iPhone/iPad and Android
- data-driven physics joints
- sound recording with on the fly packet modification
- variable width custom font support
- a *lot* of optims, including batch rendering
- a realtime CPU profiler with optional graphical display
- ...
