Need pixel artist to complete a game

Need pixel artist to complete a game

Postby rogerdv » 06 May 2020, 17:10

A couple of years ago I started a remake of an old cuban game with Unity. I almost completed the project, and then, considering that I will never be able to sell it using Unity due to license issues, I decided to switch to Godot and release the source code. Here is the video of the previous iteration of the poject:

What I need is a pixel artist that can produce the player and ghost animations and also improve a bit the level graphics.

The game looks pretty interesting as it is. Is it available somewhere?

I havent released it yet. I reached beta state in the Unioty version, but I had to start all over again using Godot. I will upload it to Github when it reaches a more playable state.

Why dont you use the LPC assest from OGA? they are pretty good and game ready.

I want to recreate the original game in all senses, including graphics.

Hi Roger, I don't know the original game, but I do agree with Danimal's suggestion.

Without knowing the original game and just judging from the video, I believe those assets would fit with little to no modifications:

Player:

Ghost:

https://opengameart.org/content/animate ... -ectoplasm

Dungeon:

https://opengameart.org/content/lpc-com ... e-interior

And some elements to enrich visually the levels:

Anyway, good luck with your project!
