Scourge2, sequel to Scourge, is created using Java and Ardor3D.

It's progressing nicely. You can already explore a rather large world. There's still a few things to land before it really becomes a playable game but the extra development agility gained by moving to Java/Ardor3D means that progress is much faster than with Scourge1. Also, using an existing 3D engine means that the game looks a lot nicer (lighting in Scourge2 is superior to Scourge1) and that the art pipeline is better (COLLADA/Blender-based models, Scourge1 was md2).

Keep the good work. I really enjoyed Scourge, except the times that the mission got stucked and the object I was looking for never appeared.
