Uhm isn't this just SuperTux with another name? Well that isn't necessarily a bad thing but I am unsure if jumping to the 50 000 dollar mark will work out. Will be interesting to see.

I wouldn't say that. The art assets are all the same, but everything else (code, gameplay, levels) is completely different. The engine doesn't include any SuperTux code (in fact, it's a different language: Python instead of C++), and a lot of design decisions I've made are different from the design decisions made for SuperTux.
