I only use two, lichess.org (webapp) for playing and ChessX for when I want to do more substantial analysis. I have tried all the forks of SCID (including the original), and ChessX is the absolute best and most intuitive fork of them all

PyChess works a treat. It is easy enough to use. You just need a FICS (www.freechess.org) account.
PyChess look ok but still dream chess look really good but only if it FICS support or other online play for the game
If anyone has any other ones you can still suggest them because I still haven't found the perfect one yet going to try PyChess for a while if i cant find anything better then I'll stick with that
