Project Trillek - a game inspired by Notch's 0x10c

Maybe anyone is interested in this (I see it in today's news about 0x10c cancelation):

Project Trillek http://trillek.org/ wants to bring to life the ideas of Notch's 0x10c. The chosen licenses are the GPL and the LGPL for the code and CC-BY-NC for the rest. The source repository is here https://github.com/trillek-team.

It's a very ambitious project that's just started, but who knows...

This is super organised. I've talked with a few people on the game's IRC channel about it. They have a writer team and a bunch of infrastructure all set up. Looks like it's set on success...

A shame on CC-BY-NC. I have no problem with proprietary art personally, but encouraging it instead of simply tolerating it seems like the wrong direction to me.
