Free casual games

Okay there's a quite big niche in free gaming: Casual games!

Name all free/open source casual games you like:

I start:
- 2048
- Gnome-Sudoku
- kpat (KDE Patience)
- Some free Mahjongg (don't know which version I used to play.)
- (KDE?) fouleggs, similar to Tetris
- some of the many Tetris'
- Sokoban
- I also enjoyed Pigeon Ascent
- Lix, a free Lemmings clone (does that count as casual?)
- Aisleriot (another Solitaire/Patience)
- Hangman from BSD games
- Frozen Bubbles

I think it can be played casually just fine. BTW for a free Lemmings clone, I prefer Pingus. Same gameplay as the original Lemmings game, more than 70 levels, but instead of lemmings with little Linux penguins :-) Level editor included, and also has multiplayer support.

(Fun fact, did you know that lemmings aren't suicidal? That was just a lie Disney made up to make their "documentary" more interesting. But thanks to that, we have this amazing game and its ascendants!)

Cheers,

Yeah, I've heard that. They hushed the animals over the cliff border. Unfortunately not the only case of filmers who pretend to love animals and in reality are cruel. Same with Jaques Cousteau (he slaughtered many sharks) und father and son Grzimek (they terrorized gnu and zebra herds with their low-flying plane).

I've read the text you linked. I didn't know about Ben Hur and Tarzan.

Ok so far for the off-topic... Back on topic: Thanks for pointing me to Pingus. I forgot about that game. I'll compare the two games. :) Playtesting, not the worst way to spend my time...

Greetings

Avoision is a favourite of mine. Parallel Overhead can also be fun.

My mother has played many hours of Tetzle since I installed it for her.

And of course the classic aforementioned Frozen Bubble.
