Hi Esther and Beelzy!
I'm Paul, a big fan of platform games. My all-time favorite is Jet Set Willy.
A graphic designer and I are finishing a small iOS platformer (our git:
https://github.com/PolipGames/Edgar). We’re still struggling with licence compatibility between (L)GPL and the App Store.

I'm Dennis. I've mostly been working on
Bt Builder recently. It is an open source implementation of the Bard's Tale Construction Set with the goal to be able to implement any of the old Bard's Tale games in the engine. It implements everything from the Bard's Tale Construction Set plus a lot more. I still need to polish the sample games to be fun.
Previously, I created
Troll Bridge, a game in the style of the original Legend of Zelda. I've also recently fixed up
Ostrich Riders to compile again. My two sons wanted to play after I had it running so the reasonable thing would have been to let them play together. Instead I implemented a third player to allow all of us to play. I also used to write
articles about open source games.

Greetings. I am known to perhaps a few by constructed identity as "Eketek". Or at least would be, had I bothered to do just a single word of proofreading. So I'll be "Eketel" instead -- At least until I can convince someone with administrative superpowers to care.
I am the sole developer of a commercial failure, which I am thinking about foisting upon the open source game development community (I probably should have built some marketting droids, instead of just assuming that someone would thoughtfully rescue it from obscurity for me). However, before I do that, I would like to find a place to discuss the project and see if there is actual interest in it. This forum at least seems to be the place to go for that purpose.
Please let me know if I should start a more specific thread about my project, or if I should instead pretend to avert my eyes and slowly back away.

Hi,
I'm no dev or whatever, just tinkering with 3D modelling and printing and electronics, my name is Nazmi from France and I am trying to get started to mod/fork supertuxkart and to know how to make new tracks/karts.
why ?
I think you might know the brony fandom, it happens that bronies like games with pony characters in them (there is a lot of them but no Pony Kart at the moment, there was a team that wanted to start from scratch and they eventually stopped the development, I'm no programmer but I don't think it's a good idea to reinvent the wheel so forking SuperTuxKart in "SuperPonyKart" might be nice as the SuperTuxKart game is working and open source (GNU GPL2), maybe by just changing the theme, name, music and characters/karts, I started to do some stuff (modelling especially) but I will discuss that in a more appropriate topic as it's just an introduction.
For the moment I have some difficulties using the tools to export the karts and to make the animations.

Greetings,
I am Marti Martz currently one of the co-owners of OpenUserJS.org among other duties there.
I am checking out this site as SuperTuxKart is in my distros package repo and I'll be examining viability of a site mascot and/or favicon usage on a Kart... after some respite with racing around to see what it's all about.
. I do enjoy racing games but rarely have much time to play.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.

okies... introductions:
I am a Computer Sciences Student, and found this place totally by accident. A lot going on here, so if I stumble around in the dark for a while, don't be at all surprised if I poke a few PM's to selected peeps I find lurking, so they can point me in the right direction. TOODLES!
