I'm taking a class called Open Source Basic(It's a freshman course.), and professor recommended us to contribute to an open source community. So I searched for it, and I ran into this community site. IT IS A FATE. I want to make my first contribution here. :D :D

Yeah, I'm his friend, and we are taking the same class. We choose this community because we'd like to keep contributing after the class.

Great to hear. Any particular open source game you are interested in contributing to?

we are not good at programming, so we would like to start from translation. Do you know a proper project we could do it? :?

dulsi : To be specific, it's kind of documentation. That is, we could participate in documentation. Or, we could just take part in testing. Maybe my friend and I should talk this in another board, because this place would be in a mess.

I correctly reply to someone, don't I?

Glad we could help you find some projects needing translations. Unfortunately my projects are not well designed to accept translations.

Welcome vukuxawo. Are you working on any game projects? What type of games are you interested in?

Hi everyone,
I am a game developer at the beginning of my career, I enjoy it so far. Good day to all of you! I am also one of the creators of these guides https://www.bestsettings.com/guides/ that are very helpful for gamers, by following these guides and getting the suggested gears you should be able to get higher FPS and improve the overall gaming experience.

Hi ,
Just registered and first post here. Found my way to this forum from open opengameart

My case is a little different. I have developed a Flashlike web based animation editor. So, its not for games but for simple animations. Not sure if I am welcome here.

Not sure if I can post a link on the first post.

Anyway, there I go. First post in a forum where I may not belong :-)

Welcome one and all.

@b00tyc0nsumer69: Generally removing limits in an open source program like that isn't hard code wise. The network communication or cpu usage for AI might be a problem. The other problem would be the tracks. The existing tracks may be too congested with that many cars.

OSBuff has already posted about the project he is helping on. Anyone else working on an open source game?

Hello !!! Names Al, from the Northern Rockies in Wyoming U.S.A.
Retired Military and just plain tired...... lol...

I do have a problem with STK 1.1.0 though.... Running Win10 Pro x64, NVidia GTX 745, 16 Gig Ram.....
Install STK, no problems.... Set up to play game, and when I want to Start Race... the Race Screen shows for a "split" second and goes back to the screen where you pick like "Single Player" or whatever.
I chose the standard Resolution for my monitor which is 1920x1080 (60 hz) Full Screen..... I tried uninstalling and re-downloading the program, re-installing... and... Same thing....
I LOVE Racers.... lol... And STK is great for the grandkids and ME both... Can you help me out??? Thanks ahead of time....

Hi Kensing,

could you post your stdout.log file? It can be found in %appdata%\supertuxkart\config-0.10 (you can enter that in the Explorer and it will take you there)
