Real programmers are overrated. If you can make a cool game, it doesn't matter if you are good a programming. (At least until someone tries to modify your game. )

I think real programmers can do things that others can't. But if you can create a game without real coding you can concentrate on art and scripts. So maybe you are even more productive than a coder! (But you need a good engine or framework or tool for that.)
