I'm onpon4. I stumbled across this forum by chance; looks pretty inactive, but it is about a topic I'm interested in, so I might as well join.

Greetings, long-time gamer and amateur composer here. I'm looking for music composing jobs / game dev collaborations (where is the place to advertise for this here?). Nice to be here, all the best.

Hello! I'm Roxana..I'm from Romania and I'm interested in participating on one of STK projects(on GSoC 2014). I would appreciate if you could tell me what to do next, because it is the first time when I apply to work on an open-source project. Thank you!

I'm a hobby game developer, and since a while I'm busy with a new game project again. I've been posting some details on opengameart.org ( http://opengameart.org/forumtopic/the-h ... bow-jewels ), but I felt a need to have a place to ask for more techical and less art-related questions, and they linked this site as affiliate, so I came here. The project is hosted on SourceFroge, http://sourceforge.net/projects/jewelhunt/

There are already a lot of interesting project being discussed here, particularly AgentKeeper. I almost started to make such by myself, but it seemed to be too big for me. Good to see a Dungeon Keeper remake being in the works :)

I'm Bob from Texas USA. I am interested in developing a handheld dice device that can be used as a game itself or used with board games, etc. I've been researching lcd displays, controller, etc but don't know exactly where to start. Not sure what components are needed or how to interface them. I've been in IT for quite some time but have never developed a project from scratch. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Are you Jorge or Alberto in the end? :) Looking forward to hearing more about your STK track!

Lol. Both. That's my name but, I prefer Alberto, because everybody know how to say it. Jorge (spelled George or Giorgi) is misunderstood as "Horhe" (like the pronounce in Spanish) because most people all over the world believes that Brazilians speak Spanish.

Olá, Knitter!
Talvez eu publique hoje algumas imagens do meu projeto em andamento.

Hi, Knitter!
I'm thinking to post some screenshots of my track (just the 3D modeling) today.

Hello, I'm Fireclaw. I'll just spare the intro and say that I'm on Red Eclipse quite often and make maps for it whenever I feel like creating something. I also like playing around with cubescript because why not? Not much else to say at this point, so yeah, what's up?

Ok, here we go.
I like playing games, especially simulations and small RPGs. I've been doing FPSs and Arcade Games for quite sometime, but now I'm all for a fresh start, doing simple puzzles first and I guess I'm ready to take my first steps into more complex RPG and Strategy games. :?
Maybe someday I will finally reach that little something that prevents me to create a cool sim (maybe Submarines?). :D

I'm a 29-old-fart from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I must admit - I'm somewhat avert to using stuff from others (not built here!). I used to license my stuff under GPLv2, but now I'm a BSD convert. Why? Simply because I don't care all that much what people do with my code. I'm probably no big deal anyway. :bsd:
