I just discovered that Star Ruler 2 is open-source (MIT-licensed) )





They provide instructions for building for Windows, Darwin, and Linux, and if you want to support them, you can buy it on Steam too.

I even mentioned it in a blog post.

Sadly AFAIK the code never got much community uptake after it was released.

Maybe because the assets are not free (as CC by-something).
