Technopeasant {l Wrote}:Been trying to get CRAFT: The Vicious Vikings up and running again, but the ancient RPM that barely worked for me ten years ago is (surprise, surprise) no longer working. The even more ancient binary is not being recognized, and I have not been able to build from source. It is a little weird, since both iMaze and Unix XEvil launch for me and they are of a similar vintage and specification.

CRAFT readme {l Wrote}:Why no Makefile ?

I hate makefiles !!! This dammed stuff is always a good source for many
obsolete bugs. Therefore we don't use make for our projects, but
if you like to have a makefile, it should be easy to convert install.

Ahhh those were the days.

Briquolo is a game sporadic develop (last change it was ten year ago), but it is pretty. It is a clone of breakout. And it is a debian package.

Made an article for Andy Balaam of Rabbit Escape, as well as more for some of his other games. He has drafted several playable if basic arcade and puzzle games over the years.

My favourites are Duckmaze, Foursies and Cross The Road.

JeffM2501 {l Wrote}:There is also GLMaze, linked from one of the iMaze pages
http://glmaze.sourceforge.net/

it uses 3DMazes and plays a little like decent.

Have not been able to get it to build sadly.

And not to harangue a typo, but I always thought Decent would be a cute name for a fully FOSS implementation of Descent. ;)

That's very odd, it builds fine for me, has some problems with screen resolutions and mouse control but it builds and runs on mint.

Yes Decent would be a fun name for a game like that.
