Node.js based application trying to mimic YouTube some but supports image, video, and audio. The platform is open source available on github: https://github.com/mayeaux/nodetube

The devs are also hosting the application at nodetube.live. No email is required to sign up.

Seems to be pretty popular on both Github and Hacker News.

Max upload size is 500MB which seems like a big issue to me. Any decent quality video around 20 minutes long would surpass that.

Edit: FYI, let me know if this is the wrong forum. I figured it fit in General since it might be a good place game resources can be posted. At the very least, tutorials and game footage. Maybe game assets as well since it supports audio and images.

I would rather advise using the Peertube federation:

Both of those projects sound great! However, due to the cost of large storage space, I believe that the Peertube federation's approach is better as it allows everyone (no matter how limited their server) to cooperate. It would be awesome if both projects would combine (or at least provide integration) that they may both benefit from their respective developers' efforts.
